Consultations ongoing on unification of ministries - Davit Sergeenko

Consultations on unification of ministries are still ongoing – Davit Sergeenko, Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs told journalists in the parliament.

According to Sergeenko, it is the prerogative of Prime Minister to report to the public what kind of changes is planned and what will be their benefits. Reportedly the number of ministries will be reduced from 14 to 11.

The parliament will listen to ministerial candidates today. The lawmakers will express confidence to the new government during an extraordinary session of the parliament on June 20. Membership of the parliament was presented on June 18. (1tv.ge)
