Several Georgian and Bulgarian nationals were arrested in Spain with the charges of burglary and robbery. Long-term special operation was conducted in various provinces of the country and it was divided into several phases. The large-scale anti-crime operation was launched in January. - "Rustavi2"

Spanish law enforcers announced at the briefing toady that during the search of the apartments of the band members they found household appliances in large amount, IDs of the suspects, cash, the schemes and plans of what and when had to be robbed. The band had one leader and it controlled the network of robbers in various provinces and cities of Spain. Police also found fire guns in the apartments of the suspects.

Georgia`s consul in Spain has not been officially informed about the detention of Georgian citizens yet.
