First Deputy Chairman of Chief Prosecutor`s Office of Georgia is going into politics. Davit Sakvarelidze resigned today. - "Rustavi2"

The former deputy chairman`s political plans are uncertain yet, although, he will reportedly be introduced as a single-mandate MP very soon.

Davit Sakvarelidze had been working in the capacity of a first deputy prosecutor-in-chief of Georgia since 2009. Prior to it, in 2008-2009 he worked as a prosecutor of Tbilisi.

Davit Sakvarelidze has Tbilisi State University`s bachelor`s degree in law. Later he graduated political sciences at Bonaventure University in New York. He is also a master of Toyo University.
