Russian rescuers have completed the main search in the southern Krasnodar region hit by flash floods, the Chief Russian Rescuer Vladimir Puchkov told reporters. - "1TV"

According to him, rescuers searched through all six settlements in the region, as well as rivers beds and railways.

The damage is pre-estimated to be at 4 bln roubles. Some 10,000 rescuers and 1,500 rescue vehicles are clearing up the aftermath of the disaster.

The death toll is estimated to be at least 171 people, while over 234,500 were affected, ITAR-Tass news agency reports.
