Wolves have assaulted a herd of sheep in the village of Ziari, Gurjaani district, Kakheti Region early on Sunday morning. The wolves have gobbled up 18 sheep and tore others of the herd. Leri Kandiashvili saw some of his sheep missing and others killed by the beasts this morning. - "Rustavi2"

Locals say they have been bothered with the assaults of the beast recently, as frequently wolves enter their yards and may even assault human. The residents of the village of Ziari ask for forming a hunters` group, which will be allowed to kill the wolves and protect domestic animals.
