Special council of the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Care, which works on the issues of the disabled citizens of Georgia, held a session today to discuss the new state policy towards the disabled. - "Rustavi2"

It has been reported that from September 1st, the disabled citizens of Georgia will be insured by the government along with pensioners, children under the age of 5 and students.

The state insurance program includes issuing insurance policies to the disabled persons under the age of 18 and the disabled with grave disabilities. The new state insurance policy also implies simplification of procedures for taking various equipments for the disabled for free.
