Georgia’s President Mikheil Saakashvili addressed Gori military academy students on August 7. - "1TV"

President said that he attended the funeral of the soldier who was identified according by the DNA, whose family members attended Saakashvili’s speech in Gori military academy.

Saakashvili claimed that Gela Tigishvili fought in Abkhazia and in 2008 Russian-Georgian war too. Two days ago, he was in village Almata, Kvareli region, where he attended the transfer of the body of the Georgian sniper Zurab Turashvili, also identified by DNA results.

“Zurab Turashvili didn’t obey to the order to leave Tskhinvali and protected Georgian land till the last bullet”, the President said. He said Gela Tigishvili’s funeral was attended by Zurab Turashvil’s father and sister and they assisted the parents of the deceased.

“This is the continuation of the solidarity these patriots died for”, Mikheil Saakashvili said.
He said dream of Georgian patriots’ murderers is to kneel Georgia, but they will not achieve this. Saakashvili talked about refugees and said that the state won’t leave any refugee in need.

“Their pain concerns all of us, their anger makes all of us angry and this will be so until each citizen turned into refugee in their own homeland are back to their home, their dignity and property”, Mikheil Saakashvili stated.

The President said the Kremlin has been preparing 7 august for years and the goal was to totally subordinate Georgia and change the foreign course.
