Officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Police have arrested murder suspect - Tamaz Kvitsiani. According to the investigation, Kvitsiani stabbed the Papuna Chikvatia from Zugdidi with a knife. - "1TV"

Chikvatia died of injuries on his face, stomach, leg and breast in a few minutes, while the murderer disappeared from the site.

The murder occurred in Zugdidi region on March 23. Kvitsiani was detained in Mestia, Svaneti Region.

The suspect has already pleaded guilty.

Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
