PASHA Bank supports non-governmental organization “First Step” to open autism center

PASHA Bank supported non-governmental organization “First Step” to open autism center. Official opening ceremony has been held on 9th October. On behalf of its partners and employees PASHA Bank donated GEL 5 000 to the organization.

First Step was founded in 1998 and its mission is to enhance the quality of life of children and youth with intellectual and physical disabilities.

In 2015 PASHA Bank and “First Step” cooperated for the first time, as the bank congratulated New Year to charity organization by donating a painting by Rusudan Petviashvili - “The Choice” (2015, mixed media painting, silk, 50X50cm) to the fund with the right to sell it directly or via auction. The funds raised from the sale of the painting were applied for the educational needs of children with intellectual and physical disabilities. Same year, bank donated GEL 10 000 to the organization, to celebrate Easter.

In 2018 the Bank congratulated Easter by planting 30 Caucasian Fir trees in the yard of “First Step” to significantly improve the living environment of the organization’s beneficiaries.

“First Step has been supporting children with special needs for 21 years. The building of Autism program was built in 2002 and it was vital to carry out renovation works which became possible only with the help and support of our devoted friends.
