A new date will be announced later, a press-secretary for the country`s Foreign Ministry Alexander Dikusarov said, as reported by Voice of Russia.

The leaders of Germany, Estonia, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Austria and Italy refused to attend the summit in protest against a reportedly cruel treatment of Ukraine’s jailed former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

Last October Tymoshenko was sentenced to 7 years in prison over abuse of power during the 2009 Russia-Ukraine gas dispute.
