We will hit Iran very hard in the next two to three weeks, we will put them back in the Stone Age, where they belong - Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump has announced that the US will hit Iran very hard in the next two to three weeks.

“We will hit them very hard in the next two to three weeks. We will put them back in the Stone Age, where they belong,” the US President said.

He also said that the Strait of Hormuz would “naturally open” after the conflict ended.

“Iran has been effectively destroyed – the hard part has already been done, so now it should be easy and, in any case, when this conflict ends, the Strait will naturally open, it will just naturally open,” Trump said.

He also said that the US allies would be responsible for reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Donald Trump has urged allies to “show some belated courage” and lead an operation to regain control of the critical shipping lane. The US president said allies who rely on the strait for oil should go in and just take it.

“Go into the strait and just take it, protect it, use it for your own benefit. The hard part is done, so now it should be easy,” Trump said.

In addition, the US president urged allies to buy oil from the US and said that the United States would no longer import oil through the Strait of Hormuz.

“The United States imports almost no oil through the Strait of Hormuz and will not import it in the future. We don’t need it. We never did and we never will,” Trump said during a national address.
