Donald Trump Extends Ceasefire Agreement with Iran
US President Donald Trump said he is extending the ceasefire agreement with Iran.
“Given that the Iranian government is seriously divided, which is not surprising, and at the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, we have been asked to hold off on attacking Iran until their leaders and representatives come up with a unified proposal,” Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
He said he had instructed the US military to continue the blockade and remain on high alert in all other respects.
“Therefore, I have instructed our military to continue the blockade and remain on high alert in all other respects and accordingly, we will continue the ceasefire until a proposal is presented and discussions are concluded, one way or another,” Trump wrote.
