A person wanted under a red circular was arrested in Batumi

Employees of the Adjara Main Division of the Central Criminal Police Department and the Counter-Terrorism Center of the State Security Service arrested S.E., a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, born in 1984, who was wanted under an Interpol red circular.

The detainee was wanted under an Interpol red circular on the facts of intentional grievous bodily harm and murder, at the request of the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Turkey.

Law enforcement officers arrested S.E. in Batumi as a result of investigative actions.

Currently, extradition procedures provided for by law are underway against the detainee.
