Scattered rain expected in Georgia on May 2-4

The National Environmental Agency is releasing information on the expected weather in Georgia on May 2-4.

As forecasters note, the country will experience sporadic rain in the coming days.

"In Tbilisi, short rain with thunderstorms. The air temperature will be +20, +22 degrees during the day.

In coastal regions (Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti): Occasional short rain and thunderstorms are expected. The air temperature will be +16, +18 degrees during the day.

In the lowland regions of Western Georgia (Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti): Occasional short rain and thunderstorms are expected. The air temperature will be +22, +24 degrees during the day.

In the mountainous regions of Western Georgia (Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass): Occasional short rain and thunderstorms are expected. The air temperature during the day +16, +18 degrees will be observed.

In the mountainous regions of Western Georgia (Mestia, Bakhmaro): Occasional short rain and thunderstorms are expected. The air temperature during the day will be +16, +18 degrees.

In Kartli (Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, Tskhinvali): Occasional short rain and thunderstorms are expected. The air temperature during the day will be +21, +23 degrees.

In Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro): Occasional short rain and thunderstorms are expected. The air temperature during the day will be +20, +22 degrees.

In the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhaltsikhe, Borjomi, Dusheti, Tianeti, Pasanauri): Occasional short rain and thunderstorms are expected. The air temperature during the day will be +16, +18 degrees.

In the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia (Akhalkalaki, Tsalka, Bakuriani, Gudauri, Omalo): Occasional short rain and thunderstorms are expected. The air temperature during the day will be +10, +12 degrees.
