The end of the war in Ukraine is very close, we will finally reach an agreement between Russia and Ukraine, - US President Donald Trump said.

"I think it's very close. The end of the war in Ukraine. I really think it's very close," - Trump said.

When asked by a journalist whether he might visit Russia this year, Trump replied that he would do whatever it takes.

"I can say that I will do whatever it takes. I've fought eight wars. This war is coming to an end. Believe it or not, it's coming, and we think that we will finally reach an agreement between Russia and Ukraine," - Trump said.

When asked whether there was any agreement between the US President and Putin that Russia should receive all of Donbas, Trump answered in the negative.

Meanwhile, speaking about NATO, the US President said he was disappointed with the alliance.
