132nd Meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism Held in Ergneti Village

The 132nd meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) was held in the village of Ergneti, Gori Municipality.

According to the State Security Service, the meeting discussed in detail all significant incidents recorded in the occupied region and along the occupation line since the previous meeting.

“The representatives of the SSU once again strictly demanded that justice be served against the representative/representatives of the Russian occupation forces guilty of the murder of Georgian citizen Tamaz Ginturi.

The immediate release of all persons held in illegal detention was strictly demanded.

Once again, the dangerous practice of illegal so-called borderization was strictly condemned.

The tendency of violation of fundamental human rights in the occupied Tskhinvali region was also emphasized and the restoration of the violated rights of the victims of this destructive practice was strictly demanded.

One of the main topics of discussion was also the issue of illegal restrictions on free movement. An extensive discussion was held regarding the regime of movement at the so-called crossing points.
