Shalva Papuashvili leaves for official visit to China

The Speaker of the Parliament, together with a delegation, has left for an official visit to the People's Republic of China.

According to the press service of the Parliament, within the framework of the visit, the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili will hold high-level meetings.

The delegation, headed by Shalva Papuashvili, includes: First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Head of the Georgia-China Parliamentary Friendship Group Giorgi Volski; Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Nino Tsilosani, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Sozar Subari; Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze and Chairman of the Agriculture Committee Gela Samkharauli.

This is the first official visit to China by the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament in the last 20 years.
