Irakli Kobakhidze to Participate in World Urban Summit in Baku
Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, will participate in the World Urban Summit, which is being hosted by the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, in partnership with the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat).
The government administration has released information about this.
According to them, Irakli Kobakhidze will deliver a speech at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum. Irakli Kobakhidze is scheduled to meet with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
“Within the framework of the summit, state leaders will discuss ways to solve the global housing crisis caused by climate change and conflicts, which is one of the important prerequisites for sustainable and inclusive urban development.
Representatives of more than 180 countries are participating in the summit, including leaders of various states, representatives of large businesses, urban planners and real estate developers.
The Prime Minister of Georgia left for Baku with a delegation, which includes Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Internal Affairs Sulkhan Tamazashvili and Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani,” the information says.
