What we saw in Copenhagen was not an individual law enforcement officer's misconduct, an excess, it was a planned, brutal action against peaceful demonstrators, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated at a briefing held at the government administration.

According to the head of government, this fact cannot have any explanation or justification.

"This double standard is very obvious. I would not have expected an answer, given that they have nothing to respond to. They are actually very well aware of the regression that is visible throughout the European Union, and for them this regression is a normal occurrence. This is the attitude of the European bureaucracy. What we saw in Copenhagen was not a single law enforcement officer's misconduct, an excess, it was a planned, brutal action against peaceful demonstrators, which cannot have any explanation or justification. Therefore, it is logical that they do not answer an uncomfortable question for them. This question is very uncomfortable for them and, naturally, they find it difficult and cannot answer this question, and this is absolutely logical," the Prime Minister said.
