European bureaucracy is a hostage to its own injustice, they must overcome the complexes they have created on the basis of their own injustice - Irakli Kobakhidze
European bureaucracy is a hostage to its own injustice, they must overcome the complexes they have created on the basis of their own injustice, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated at a briefing held at the Government Administration.
According to the Head of Government, if the European bureaucracy overcomes its own complexes, relations between Georgia and the European Union will easily be restored.
"The main thing in relations is fair principles. If relations are not based on fair principles, these relations have no perspective. The main problem between Georgia and the European Union is what created it - injustice, an unfair attitude towards the Georgian people and the Georgian state. Here too, there were double standards, completely unfair assessments, Georgia is the absolute leader among the candidate countries, in all respects, this applies to both democratic progress and economic progress, the proper functioning of institutions, and the lack of corruption. By all parameters, Georgia is the absolute leader, however, against this background, the European bureaucracy decided to change the government in Georgia, after we resisted and did not get involved in the war, they made such a decision and this decision needed to be implemented, and for them, injustice was the only tool for implementing this decision. The EU ambassador decided to directly interfere in our local democratic elections in 2024. The EU ambassador directly called on Georgian voters to mobilize against the government. The foreign ministers of European countries came directly to the stage, at this level they dared to show their own injustice. This, of course, created problems and caused a rift in relations, which was absolutely logical. Where there is injustice, healthy relations cannot exist. Accordingly, now the European bureaucracy is a hostage to its own injustice. They cannot get out of this circle. They themselves created this circle of injustice, they themselves locked themselves in this circle and now they cannot get out of it. They must overcome the complexes that they created on the basis of their own injustice. If the European bureaucracy overcomes its own complexes, relations between Georgia and the European Union will be very easily overloaded. In this regard, our hand is outstretched, we will wait for their liberation from their complexes,” - Kobakhidze said.
