“Unfortunately, due to the decisions of the obedient German bureaucracy of the “Deep State”, even historical friendship is becoming a subject of political speculation - Kakha Kaladze’s “Letter of Condolence” to the German people

Despite the long-standing friendship and mutual respect between the peoples of Georgia and Germany, unfortunately, due to the decisions of the obedient German bureaucracy of the “Deep State”, even historical friendship is becoming a subject of political speculation, - this is stated in the “Letter of Condolence” of Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.

As Kaladze notes, it is especially regrettable that cultural and partnership ties established over decades are being damaged due to the one-sided political conjuncture.

“It is unbelievable that today, when a full-scale military conflict is underway on the European continent, and Germany is practically mired in a quagmire and facing enormous challenges due to leaders and politicians acting under informal oligarchic influence (economic crisis, catastrophically increased crime rate, demographic problems, migrant crisis, social tension and value crisis), German bureaucrats are rushing to assess the political situation in Georgia and are taking “decisive measures”, which is also reflected in the fact that the German city of Saarbrücken is severing all relations with Tbilisi, which was twinned more than 50 years ago… If they are really concerned about the political situation in European states, instead of making these absurd decisions, it would be better for them to focus on the most serious event in terms of democracy and human rights that we saw in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, when The peaceful demonstrators were first beaten with batons, and then dogs were used against them…

All of the above probably best illustrates the absurd and at the same time tragic situation in which the German population found itself under the existing bureaucracy, a bureaucracy that serves the interests not of the Germans, but of the “Deep State”. However, we are talking about a rational German people and a country that was distinguished by a high political culture and respect for European values.

Perhaps that is why questions are increasingly being heard in German society about the extent to which the existing bureaucratic government responds to the interests and needs of the German people themselves.

"We believe that German society has enough wisdom and the strength to maintain independent thinking, defend its national interests, and be able to bring to power a political force that will take care of solving the real problems of Germany and Germans and will obey the will of the German people," the letter states.
