    Georgia hosts Trojan Footprints, the largest military exercise in Europe led by U.S. Special Operations Forces for the fourth time - U.S. Embassy

    Georgia is hosting Trojan Footprints, the largest military exercise in Europe led by U.S. Special Operations Forces, for the fourth time, which opened last week, the U.S. Embassy in Georgia announced.

    As the embassy wrote on social media, the goal of this multinational military exercise is to strengthen cooperation with partner countries, strengthen interoperability with NATO, and improve joint readiness in support of regional security.

    “The 2026 exercise will involve approximately 1,000 U.S. service members and 2,000 service members from NATO allies and partners,” the U.S. Embassy wrote.
