Shalva Papuashvili responds to Peter Fischer: “The way out of an unpleasant situation is simple - don’t be a liar and don’t support violence”
A liar is someone who calls violence a “peaceful protest,” Shalva Papuashvili, the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, wrote on social media.
Papuashvili responds to the statement of the German Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, in an interview with the publication “Batumelebi”, that “it is really not pleasant when the President, Prime Minister, Speaker of the Parliament or other MPs constantly tell you that you are a liar and support violence. This is not funny.”
“However, the way out of such an unpleasant situation is simple - don’t be a liar and don’t support violence.
"A liar is someone who calls violence a "peaceful protest," and a supporter of violence is someone who poses against a fascist slogan.
Crocodile tears cannot cover up the truth," Papuashvili wrote.
