Mr. Peter takes the oath of the squadrons of contempt - Shalva Papuashvili

When asked whether the German Ambassador, Peter Fischer, was sent an invitation to attend the event dedicated to Georgia's Independence Day, the Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, replied:

“Of course, everyone would have been sent [an invitation]. I think he would not have wanted to [attend the event] either, because yesterday we stood there with the Georgian army and heard the oath of the Georgian army. The entire society took the oath of the Georgian army from the conscripts, and Mr. Peter takes the oath of the squadrons of contempt. He is the only person who incites, supports and justifies contempt, hate speech, and violence in Georgia. So he probably despises his place more "He saw it with the squadrons, rather than with the Georgian army. I am not the organizer, but I assume that of course [an invitation] would have been sent to everyone," Papuashvili said.
