We have never made and will never make any decision on banning parties, our opinion is that specific parties are unconstitutional - Shalva Papuashvili
We have never made and will never make any decision on banning parties, our opinion is that specific parties are unconstitutional, - said the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili.
“We have appealed to the Constitutional Court to judge. This was also our pre-election promise. One million 120 thousand people gave us the mandate to appeal to the Constitutional Court. Behind the constitutional lawsuit is not the “Georgian Dream”, but one million 120 people. If the Constitutional Court determines that a party is unconstitutional, should such a party exist? Is this anyone’s opinion? "The constitution says that if a party is unconstitutional, its existence will be against the constitution. Isn't it inappropriate for a fascist and violent party to exist?" Papuashvili said.
