Every state acts in its own interests, it is absolutely logical that today the new US administration is starting a conversation about reviewing relations, including with Russia, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

As the head of government noted, national interests are the determining factor for any state.

"We have always said that every state arises from its own national interests, this is modern politics and not only modern politics. Every state arises from its own interests, therefore, it is absolutely logical that today the new administration is starting to talk about reviewing relations, including with Russia. Once again, national interests are the determining factor for any state, and we would like to call on everyone, the entire society, to take a pragmatic approach to events, and today's processes show that there is no alternative to a pragmatic approach," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
