There was an interesting, very constructive conversation that took place during the visit of American colleagues to Georgia, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
According to the head of government, the main thing is to establish fair approaches in relations.
“We had interesting conversations. It will be difficult for us to talk publicly about the details of this conversation, but I will say once again that it was an interesting, very constructive conversation that took place during the visit of American colleagues to Georgia.
I would like to remind you once again about the general approach. The main thing is to establish fair approaches in relations. What spoiled relations over the past years was precisely injustice, the injustice of the previous administration. You remember very well what the previous administration did, how it supported radicalism, hatred, lies in our country, how it encouraged sabotage of state institutions, including how it pushed the radical opposition not to use its mandates. This happened both in 2020 and after the 2024 parliamentary elections. Today we see that these approaches have changed, which keeps us optimistic that it will be possible "Renewing the strategic partnership from a clean slate with a concrete roadmap. This is our main offer to the American side," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
