    The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia has signed a memorandum with the Beijing Language, Education and Cooperation Center

    A memorandum has been signed between the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia and the Beijing Language, Education and Cooperation Center.

    According to the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, the document was signed by the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze, and the Director of the Center, Yu Yunfeng.

    According to them, the document envisages supporting the professional development of Chinese language teachers in Georgia, developing additional financial support mechanisms for them, sharing learning resources and experience, and organizing joint educational and cultural events.

    “A working group will be created to coordinate cooperation within the framework of the partnership, which will begin operating in the near future,” the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth said in a statement.

    According to them, the signing ceremony of the memorandum was held in Beijing, at the Language, Education and Cooperation Center, where the Minister inspected the modern educational infrastructure and held a meeting with the center's employees.

    Representatives of the center presented to Givi Mikanadze the Chinese language teaching program, which helps those wishing to learn Chinese from different countries with the help of artificial intelligence.

    Givi Mikanadze was accompanied by Levan Grigiashvili, First Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Paata Kalandadze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the People's Republic of China, and representatives of the Ministry and the Embassy.
