In response to a question about the possible departure of the "National Movement" from the "Opposition Alliance", Shalva Papuashvili said: They are like "blue mountains", it is unclear whether they are here or there.

"We should watch this comedy as "blue mountains". Overall, what I see makes us happy in that the external forces that are organizing this new one are not so smart and cannot consider some issues and end up in such a situation. The circus that we are watching also speaks to the forces behind these people. When they go to Brussels and declare these people to be the Georgian people and that they are representatives of their interests. When they go to various European countries and declare these people, actors of the political circus, to be representatives of the country, this also speaks to the kind of people who are sitting in Brussels and in some capitals, on whom they are betting. Didn't they stand by these people in the 2024 elections, vote for them, didn't they say? Aren't the resolutions adopted on their orders and in agreement? The Georgian people should also see what we are dealing with. The second issue is that when Brussels and other forces that are behind these things cannot be identified in such simple matters, can you imagine entrusting these people with international politics and geopolitics? That is why there is chaos in the world today, there is a war in Ukraine today. If the European Union were in its place, if Western countries and politicians were up to the challenge, this war would not have happened, which has been said many times, including by the new American administration and the Secretary of State. We are dealing with such people today, and such people are responsible for global security, that is why the world is in chaos,” said Shalva Papuashvili.
