Russia reports large-scale drone attack on Moscow and Moscow region

According to the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, a woman was injured when drone debris fell on the roof of a private house in Elektrostal. According to him, the drone also crashed into an apartment building in Zhukovsky, and private houses were damaged in Chekhov and Pavlovsky Posad. In the settlement of Kryukovo, drone fragments fell on the territory of several country houses.

According to Vorobyov, a fitness center and a facility located in the Lyubertsy industrial zone were also damaged, and a fire broke out on the roof of the Belaya Dacha shopping center. According to preliminary information, there were no injuries in this case either.

According to the Russian authorities, a total of 52 drones were shot down on the road to Moscow during the morning. In addition, temporary restrictions were imposed at Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports.

The Russian side blames the Ukrainian armed forces for the incident.
