Tbilisi Prosecutor's Office Launches Investigation into Possible Crime Committed by TV Company "Formula" Against Goga Khaindrava

The Investigation Department of the Tbilisi Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the possible crime committed by TV Company "Formula" against Goga Khaindrava. This is stated in the statement of the Prosecutor's Office.

According to the agency, Goga Khaindrava was questioned as a witness by the investigative body.

“On June 16, 2026, the Investigation Department of the Tbilisi Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation into the fact of false eavesdropping under Article 373, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.

The investigation was launched based on a statement by lawyers defending the interests of film director Giorgi (Goga) Khaindrava regarding the possible commission of a crime against Giorgi (Goga) Khaindrava by the TV company “Formula”.

Film director Giorgi (Goga) Khaindrava was questioned as a witness by the investigative body. All necessary investigative and procedural actions will be carried out, the results of which will be additionally provided to the public,” the statement states.
