“From June 18, an increase in the water flow in the Aragvi River bed is expected, which is caused by the abundant precipitation in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti region and, accordingly, the abundant inflow of water into the Zhinvali Reservoir.

Along with the natural abundant precipitation, excess water released from the Zhinvali Reservoir will join the river bed.

In order to ensure the stability of the dam and safety standards during floods, the operational conditions of the Zhinvali Reservoir are strictly controlled by the “Reservoir Operation Instructions” document.
