Irakli Kobakhidze leaves for official visit to Tajikistan
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze has left for an official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the press service of the Prime Minister of Georgia, an official welcoming ceremony for the Head of Government will be held at the Dushanbe International Airport. Irakli Kobakhidze will be met by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda.
Within the framework of the official visit, the Prime Minister of Georgia is scheduled to meet with his Tajik counterpart face-to-face and in an expanded format.
The Head of Government of Georgia will be hosted by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at the Presidential Palace. After the meeting, the leaders will make joint statements to the media.
Within the framework of the official visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with the Chairman of the Chamber of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Irakli Kobakhidze traveled to the Republic of Tajikistan with a delegation consisting of Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture David Songulashvili, Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
