Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says it has attacked 85 US military sites in Bahrain and Kuwait.

The Iranian side said it was in response to US attacks, which Tehran considers a violation of the ceasefire agreement.

Earlier, US Central Command said that US forces had hit more than 80 targets in the latest attack on Iran. They said the operation was carried out in response to Iranian attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the US military, they attacked Iranian air defense systems and more than 60 small ships of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The US Central Command says that the US is ready to hold Iran accountable for violating the agreement.
