Transparency International Georgia to Defend Tamar Peradze’s Rights in the Case of Standing on the Sidewalk at the European Court of Human Rights

Transparency International Georgia will defend the rights of protester Tamar Peradze at the European Court of Human Rights.

According to the organization, “the case concerns the administrative detention imposed for standing on the sidewalk and the violation of Peradze’s fundamental rights.”

For your information, Droa member Tamar Peradze was sentenced to 2 days of administrative detention in May. The Ministry of Internal Affairs charged her with standing on the sidewalk and obstructing traffic.
