According to media reports, Graham recently returned from Kiev, where he was on an official visit and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Graham was elected to the US Senate in 2002. In addition, Graham was a close ally of US President Donald Trump and chairman of the Senate Budget Committee.
