Like other European institutions operating under informal oligarchic influence, the OSCE has already been openly involved in a process aimed at changing the government in Georgia through unfair and shameful accusations, sanctions, and other levers of pressure or blackmail and replacing it with an obedient agency of the “deep state,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said at a briefing at the Presidential Administration.

The Prime Minister calls the resolution adopted by the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly a few days ago absurd.

“There is a famous saying – ‘What Peter says about Paul, says more about Peter than about Paul.’ This saying best describes the absurd resolution adopted by the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly a few days ago. "Like other European institutions operating under informal oligarchic influence, the OSCE has already been openly involved in a process aimed at changing the government in Georgia and replacing it with a subservient agency of the Deep State through unjust and shameful accusations, sanctions, and other levers of pressure or blackmail," the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister said that the statements of President Donald Trump and former British Prime Minister Liz Truss, as well as public statements by other political leaders and analysts about the threat of informal oligarchic influence and corporate governance, dispel all doubts about the existence of the Deep State and the infallibility of its influence.

“I would also like to remind you of the statements of the current US President, Donald Trump, and the former British Prime Minister, Liz Truss – “Either we destroy the Deep State or the Deep State will destroy America”; “We want to dismantle the British Deep State, which is older and more entrenched than the American one.” These scandalous statements by Trump and Truss, as well as public statements by other political leaders and analysts about the dangers of informal oligarchic influences and corporate governance, dispel all doubts about the existence of the “Deep State” and the infallibility of its influence.

Against this background, the accusations of European politicians that Brussels and, in general, European structures, as well as the majority of governments of EU member states, are accountable not to their own voters, but to the “Deep State” are logical; accordingly, the policies they pursue are entirely based on informal oligarchic interests,” the Prime Minister said.
