If the inhabitants of Ivanishvili’s zoo really want to imitate me, they should imitate me in the main – not to steal and not to take bribes, but then there will be no more “kotsi” - Mikheil Saakashvili
The “National Movement” was created in its time, including to respond to illegal construction and environmental damage, and now we are still limited to comments from TV studios. I don’t like this and we are changing it, – the third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili writes about this on social networks.
“The “kotsi” have been bitterly offended by my footage, which shows how I helped people during the flood. They went to Telavi to imitate me and record footage of their own participation, but if the inhabitants of Ivanishvili’s zoo really want to imitate me, they should imitate me in the main thing – not to steal and not to take bribes, but then they would no longer be “scammers”. However, here they stole money that was allocated for cleaning dams and took bribes to issue construction permits where construction is not allowed. Since they are also ignorant, they simply did not realize that violating construction norms entailed a real danger. So corruption, ignorance and, that is, “scammers” are dangerous for your health and life. At the same time, I cannot but emphasize the failure of the opposition to fulfill its role. It has long been known that construction poses a threat to the safety of the population. Why didn’t they make a story before, why did they wait for a disaster to happen and then turn into TV commentators?
At one time, the “National Movement” was created, among other things, to respond to illegal construction and environmental damage, and now we are still limited to commenting from TV studios. I don’t like this and we are changing it.
At the same time, the arrogance of the dictator’s servants is astonishing – well, without getting nervous, they say that construction permits were issued incorrectly, you think, even then Ivanishvili’s people did not issue those permits, and now, on Ivanishvili’s orders, permits for “Arab cities” that pose a catastrophic threat to the ecology and population, have not been issued,” Saakashvili writes.
