When you artificially try to separate the Georgian people and the government from each other, this is the approach that we used to know towards our occupied territories, when the Russian Federation did not recognize Georgia’s sovereignty over 20% – now Ms. Kaia Kalas does not recognize Georgia’s sovereignty over 100% of the territory of Georgia, which is a tragic event for the European bureaucracy, – the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, told journalists in Batumi.

According to Irakli Kobakhidze, they are talking about the Georgian people separately and the Georgian government separately, while the Georgian people have very firmly expressed their trust in the Georgian government for the second time in a row, in 2024 and then in one year in 2025.

"From both points of view, it seems that the completely European bureaucracy has entered into an absurdity. One, that they are discussing the Black Sea issues without Georgia, while Georgia provides a connection to the Black Sea for seven countries. In other words, you can judge for yourself how absurd they have entered into. On the other hand, they are talking about the Georgian people separately and the Georgian government separately, while the Georgian people have very firmly expressed their confidence in the Georgian government for the second time in a row, in 2024 and then in one year in 2025. In both cases, the government received the support of more than one million one hundred thousand voters. This means very strong support from the Georgian people. At a time when you are artificially trying to separate the Georgian people and the government from each other, this is the approach that we used to know towards our occupied territories, when the Russian Federation did not recognize Georgia's sovereignty over 20%.
