US Central Command launches new military strikes against Iran
According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), another military operation against Iran was completed on July 14, during which dozens of military targets were destroyed in the areas surrounding the Strait of Hormuz and in the coastal zones of Iran.
According to CENTCOM, during the seven-hour operation, US fighter aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles and naval forces used high-precision weapons to strike Iran's missile and drone infrastructure, naval capabilities and coastal defense systems.
According to the command, the goal of the operation was to further limit Iran's capabilities so that it would not be able to pose a threat to commercial vessels and civilian crews.
On the same day, US military forces renewed a naval blockade of ships heading to or leaving Iranian ports and coastal areas.
US Central Command said that American forces remain on full combat alert and are ready to carry out any orders issued by the President of the United States.
