Russian ballistic missile attack on Kiev – 2 killed, 16-year-old injured
According to the latest data, two people were killed and a 16-year-old injured in a ballistic missile attack by Russia on Kiev.
Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko initially said six people were injured. He said three of the injured were taken to hospital.
Later, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (GSChS) confirmed that two people had been killed and five others injured, including a child, in the Russian shelling.
The target of the Russian attack was the Sviatoshin and Darnytskyi districts of Kiev.
A fire broke out in the Darnytskyi district of an administrative and warehouse building, as well as trucks parked nearby and another warehouse. According to rescuers, the fires have already been extinguished.
A single-story warehouse building caught fire in the Sviatoshyn district after a shell hit it. Three people were injured in the incident. The fire has been localized at this time.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, rescuers are continuing to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack, while information about the dead and injured is being clarified.
