US forces have carried out another strike against Iran
US forces have carried out another strike against Iran, CNN reported, citing US Central Command.
“The strikes targeted Iranian military capabilities that are being used to threaten shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. The US military is holding Iran accountable on the instructions of the Commander in Chief,” the US Central Command said in a statement.
According to them, US forces attacked Iranian command centers, air defense facilities, missile and drone capabilities, as well as coastal surveillance facilities.
“U.S. forces struck Iranian command centers, air defense facilities, missile and drone capabilities, and coastal intelligence infrastructure to further degrade Iran’s ability to threaten innocent sailors serving on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz,” U.S. Central Command said. Iranian media reported that explosions were heard in several cities across the country, including the port city of Bandar Abbas and the southern cities of Ahvaz and Chabahar.
