Georgia will always play a special role and mission in any issue of the Middle Corridor, it is a transit country, it will always have this historical and geographical mission and everyone will have to take this into account, - Deputy Prime Minister, State Minister for Coordination of Law Enforcement Agencies, Mamuka Mdinaradze stated this at a briefing held at the Government Administration.

As Mamuka Mdinaradze noted, it is unthinkable to even talk about connectivity without Georgia.

"Middle corridor, connectivity, transit corridor - these are the words and terms that very briefly reflect the reality, which is very important in the trade-economic sphere and transit provision through Georgia in relation to various economic issues. It is true, for example, that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly thought that Georgia should be excluded from geography altogether, but Georgia is where it is and it is unthinkable to even talk about it in this area without it. Georgia will always play a special role and mission in any issue of the Middle Corridor.
