Court sentences journalist Vakho Sanaia to 14 days of administrative detention

The Tbilisi City Court has sentenced journalist Vakho Sanaia to 14 days of administrative detention for posts he made on social media.

The decision was made by Judge Zviad Tsekvava.

The case concerned posts about Shalva Papuashvili and Lado Bozhadze.

The Department for Combating Hate Speech, established within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, applied to the Tbilisi City Court for legal response.
