Police arrest Onise Okriashvili's attacker on charges of violence

Officers of the Vake-Saburtalo Main Division of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested one person on charges of violence.

According to the investigation, on July 22 of this year in Tbilisi, the accused physically assaulted Onise Okriashvili and fled the scene.

“Soon after the crime was committed, one person appeared at the Vake-Saburtalo Police Department and was arrested by law enforcement officers as an accused. The investigation is underway under Article 126 of the Criminal Code. Relevant investigative actions are ongoing,” the MIA said in a statement.

A video of the attack on Onise Okriashvili was shared on social media. According to available information, the fact is related to Okriashvili's statement about Nodar Dumbadze.
