The United States has launched another strike against Iran
The forces of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) successfully completed the 13th consecutive night of military strikes against Iran on July 23.
According to CENTCOM, the strikes were carried out on Iranian military command centers, drone storage facilities, communication networks, coastal observation posts and naval capabilities. The agency said that the purpose of the operation was to further reduce the threat that Iran poses to civilian sailors and commercial vessels traveling in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the Central Command, despite the recent attacks by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the international shipping lane remains open for transit. According to them, with the support of US military forces, commercial ships continue to navigate freely in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to CENTCOM, more than 50,000 American military personnel are currently serving in the Middle East region.
