Tinatin Rukhadze’s resignation yesterday over a Facebook post, which was on her way to the prosecutor’s office, is yet another indication that Georgian Dream is drowning in corruption – Giorgi Sioridze
According to Giorgi Sioridze, a member of “Lelo – Strong Georgia,” the resignation of former Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze is yet another indication that Georgian Dream is facing a systemic corruption problem.
“The resignation of Tinatin Rukhadze, who was on her way to the prosecutor’s office yesterday over a Facebook post, is yet another indication that Georgian Dream is drowning in corruption,” Giorgi Sioridze said.
According to him, representatives of the ruling team compete with each other in “dividing people’s money,” and when the government decides that someone should be “sacrificed,” they either resign from their positions or face criminal liability.
According to Sioridze, the Georgian Dream party has created systemic corruption in the country, which, according to him, functions with the participation of both high-ranking officials and the lower echelons of the state apparatus.
“This systemic corruption will not be helped by the demonstrative trial of one or two individuals. Systemic corruption will be defeated in this country along with the change of the Georgian Dream regime,” said Giorgi Sioridze.
For information, Tinatin Rukhadze has resigned from the post of Minister of Culture. She made the relevant statement on the social network Facebook. Rukhadze cited her health condition as the reason for her decision and noted that the current situation does not allow her to pay due attention to the activity, which, according to her, she particularly loves and is dear to her.
