    Five killed in drone attack in Moscow region

    Five people were killed and six injured in a drone attack in Moscow region, Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said.

    According to him, the main consequences of the attack were observed in the Chekhov municipal district.

    According to Vorobyov, several fires broke out in the industrial zone of the village of Novoselki as a result of the drone crash. The largest fire was in the warehouse area, but the open fire has already been extinguished.

    The injured are receiving medical assistance. An electrical substation and an administrative building were also damaged. Firefighters and other emergency services are working at the scene.

    According to the governor, a private house and a car were damaged by falling drone debris in the village of Solnyshkovo. The fire was extinguished, and no one was injured in the incident.

    According to Vorobyov, the Russian military continues to repel drones. According to him, drones are being observed over the Volokolamsk, Klin, Chekhov and Serebryano-Prudsky districts of the Moscow region.

    The Russian Defense Ministry has repeatedly stated that in response to Ukrainian attacks, Russian forces are carrying out attacks on decision-making centers, military command posts and enterprises that, according to Moscow, are being used for military purposes by Kiev in cooperation with NATO specialists. Also, according to the agency, long-range high-precision weapons and strike drones are being used in these operations.
