Our goal in relation to the Russian Federation is the peaceful resolution of the conflict, we hope that all this will become possible as a result of political changes, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

As the head of government noted, Georgia does not have diplomatic relations with Russia for obvious reasons.

"Until the so-called recognition is an accomplished fact from the Russian Federation, diplomatic relations, of course, cannot be restored. Our goal in relation to the Russian Federation is the peaceful resolution of the conflict. This is our political statement and we hope that all this will become possible as a result of political changes. The peaceful resolution of the conflict is, of course, one of our foreign policy priorities," - Irakli Kobakhidze said.
