Rehabilitation of the access road from the village of Saparlo to the city of Dmanisi is underway

According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia, rehabilitation of the local access road from the village of Saparlo to the city of Dmanisi is underway in the Dmanisi municipality. The works cover a 14.9 km section.

The asphalt-concrete pavement on the existing road was damaged and the technical condition of the road required rehabilitation. Within the framework of the project, a concrete pavement will be laid on a 14.9 km section, entrances to the yards of the population, water pipes, culverts and gabions will be arranged.

The arrangement of road signs, fencing and road markings is also envisaged.

The works are financed from the state budget and the project cost is up to 12.5 million GEL.
